  Amazing tyres.

  We buy Metzeler for all of our bikes, dirt and racing as well as road. This was the first time I've had it on my road bike though and I could not believe the difference. Coming back from a big crash, I felt my confidence had taken a huge knock. After putting on the Metzelers, I felt stable and smooth in all of the corners and the feeling of feedback and grip from the road is simply unreal. The different compounds throughout the tyre mean I can clock up long highway miles and not have that ridge worn into them, then as soon as you lean it over in the twisties you get the sticky softer grippy edge. Very happy, thanks RMATV for an unbeatable price on this great tyres!

  Metzeler ME880 Marathon Front Motorcycle Tire

  Surprise! I had a flat on the interstate.

  I gave the ME-880 front tire on my 1999 Valkyrie a "Good", mostly due to the experiences I've had from riding on ME's for a number of years on two seperate bikes. This past Sunday, however, my ME (front, Valkyrie Tourer) let me down - literally - by going flat as I was riding south on Interstate 91. It didn't lose all it's air at once, which was a blessing of sorts, but it was getting "squishy" at 70 mph, so I knew enough to pull over quick. This was surprising given that the tire had fewer than 3,000 miles on it since I bought it last year. There is still plenty of tread on it, and when I called the rep this AM, he said that if I took it to an authorized dealer, it would be sent back for evaluation. If it was determined NOT to have gone flat as result of a road hazard of some kind, there MAY be a pro-rated allowance AFTER I paid for a new one in full. This has me wondering - are these tires really as good as they claim? Stand-by for updates on this story.

  Metzeler MCE Karoo 2 Front Motorcycle Tire

  great for occasional off road

  I've worn out 4 or 5 of these on the front of my XT600. I ride about 50% pavement and 50% gravel or very hard dirt. They only last a couple thousand miles but is worth it to me having aggressive knobs on gravel/dirt. Might not work great on big "adventure" street bikes but I like it for dry hard terrian on my old Yamaha. I stay home when it rains so not at all concerned about mud performance.

  Metzeler Sportec M3 Rear Motorcycle Tire

  Very Good Tire

  Replaced some Michelin Pilot Power 2's with the M3's and I couldn't be happier. Ran the tires completely to the edge on the track without any slippage whatsoever. This tire is excellent for some harder street riding and light (middle pace intermediate group) usage at the track. Rode the same tire on a GSXR1000 and they were overpowered by the bike and needed some good throttle control to avoid spin ups.
