    Glad I got these

I debated and debated which tires to go with to replace the stock Dunlop D605 that came on my KLX250s. I'm not disappointed with these tires. So far so good. I was looking for a 50/50 street dirt tire and these fit the bill nicely. On the road they are smooth with very little side to side movement. On rough pavement they tend to track in the grooves but don't feel unstable. On the dirt they are awesome. The 250 is not known for its power to break traction, but these tires will break traction just enough to allow for a little slide the in the corners on a gravel road. But they are still controllable. They are squirelly on deep gravel though and sand is not their friend. But on roads, hard pack, loose dirt, and some gravel, they do great. They are perfect for my riding style.

    Extreme grip and mileage

Bought this tire to try out for my 99 Concours , figured if it lasted a while it would be a good deal .Bought and installed the tire in July 2012 ! now its April 2014 and I just hit the wear bars after 22K miles . I ride years round here in the PNW so this tire has proven itself in the rain . I ride pretty aggressively on the back roads with some slab riding up I-5 between Olympia and Seattle . I usually keep the tire inflated between 38 and 40PSI and I weight about 260 lb .Will be buying another next month .

    Happy Camper

I bought a set of these for a 4,500km adventure ride from Adelaide to Canberra and back on my Honda NC700S. Approximately half was on sealed roads, 40% on formed dirt roads and 10% on dirt tracks and off-piste. The front was amazing - never once did I think it was about to let go. The rear though was pretty easy to step out of line, but probably more a reflection of the weight bias on the NC700S. They were great on high-speed dirt roads, but as expected, challenging in deep sand. On sealed roads they're quiet enough, and allowed me to drag the pegs through a brilliant 70km stretch of switchbacks. I'd rate these tyres 60/40 sealed/unsealed. They've now done 6,000km and the rear probably has another 1,500km in it till the wear bars. I expect the front will last two or three rear tyre changes.

    Shinko rear tyre dissapointing performance

In the last few days I replaced my Dunlop Sportmax tyres on my 2004 GSXR 1000 with Shinko tires that I bought from JakeWilson.com. As always from JakeWilson, the tires were well packed with no apparent damage. The tires supplied were: 190/50ZR-17 (73W) Shinko 009 Raven Rear Motorcycle Tire - 2004 Suzuki GSXR1000 (Rear) 120/70ZR-17 (58W) Shinko 009 Raven Front Motorcycle Tire - 2004 Suzuki GSXR1000 (Front) After fitting the tires the wheels were balanced and inflated to approximately 40PSI. During the first test ride it was abundantly clear that turn in was very much slower, and that the bike felt unsteady even at moderate lean angles. The problem is more evident at slow speeds (
