    Comfortable but not durable

    I tried on several different boots from Alpine Star, Fox, etc. I was less concerned with cost than with comfort as a bad boot never gets better. These boots tied with comfort compared with the Fox Comp 5's. The reason I chose them was because I thought the steel edge at the toe would make shifting easier. I'm not disappointed with the boot overall but after less than a year of trail riding, the seam on one of the boots has already pulled away. I moved from the Fox Comp 5 to this Tech 3 boot and game my son the Comp 5. The Comp 5 is still in perfect condition and my son is my main riding partner so both boots were used the same. I probably would buy another pair of Comp 5's before this Alpine Star Tech 3 and the Fox pair is about $40 cheaper.

    Great Dual Sport Jacket !

    I bought this jacket for extended mile dual sport rides. I have regreted not having a good waterproof/weather appropriate jacket for those unexpected weather changes. This jacket is made very durable and with all the pads that fit the jacket, no more need for a chest protector under your jacket. I am very happy with this purchase.

    Different material than the Underwaers and Moose brands (which are exactly the same ones). The MSR are made of a poly blend and the others are a kevlar blend. You would think the kevlar ones would last longer but that's not the case. The MSR also form fit your hands better making a better fit inside the glove. OH, they do what they are suppossed to too. I have wussy hands and I don't get blisters
