    This is a great mask. The upper portion is a thin lycra moisture-wicking material, perfect for under the helmet. It is not obtrusive at all. The lower portion is a soft fleece. It isn't noted here but it is a dual-layered bottom portion, extra thick fleece, for that extra warmth. Even when not wearing a helmet it still is very good at keeping warmth in. I wore this under my helmet on a trail ride I went on the 2nd of January (sub 20 degrees where I was) and I guarantee I wouldn't have been able to last without it.

    I needed a patch to cover a hole that I melted in my Fly Patrol jacket. I have had is sewn on for about a year now. Needless to say, the jacket and the patch gets all kinds of action. The patch has not frayed, colors hold up to wet and sun, even been through the washer a few times.
