The X-Ring chain is very strong and is definitely more than a typical 400cc class quad needs. Your sprockets will wear out LONG before the chain does.

this chain is the only one that i found that can hold up to the abuse of sand drags and hard riding.

I bought this chain as a temporary chain and it did it's job, but I wouldn't buy it as a permanent chain. It wears pretty quick and stretches a lot. If you're looking for a good chain, spend a little more money.

Great chain. Getting the master link on of the first time is a bit of a chore. But once installed and properly lubricated it will last for what seems like forever. Stretch is minimal unless you dont have it adjusted correctly. Im unsure if the extra price is worth it in comparison to the O ring chain, but they are different. But I havent worn this one out yet, so time will tell.

Great quality chain at a reasonable price. I'll buy another one for my 400EX when it is time to replace that one.
