Please don't stop making this tire.

Comments On Mar 07, 2013:I bought this tire last year with 37-plus K miles on my bike, I am now 1100 miles short of 60 K and still have usable tread, that's over 21,000 miles and still going. I also bought the Dyna Beads and put them in when I mounted the tire. All I can say is, "Great traction and ride in all weather conditions"... I live in Oregon so I know riding in rain.

Great tire. Exccelent traction

Comments On Jun 29, 2012:This tire replaced a Shinko. The Shinko was a great tire but lasted 5k miles and as the tread wore so did the traction. I've had this Avon on now for over 11k miles. It is now starting to cup a little and I've nearly worn the tread out. I'm a bigger guy (280) and pull a 3-400lb trailer so I'm not complaining at all. I really have had no traction loss at all. Still rides excellent in rain. I've had this bike in the dirt, on gravel roads a lot and even through a mud road pulling the trailer. It has been a great tire.

Way better than Dunlop

Comments On Jun 06, 2012:VERY GOOD tires.. WAY better than the Dunlop 404’s that were on the bike.
The bike does not want to follow rut’s in the road. I am more confidant taking turns and curves at a faster rate of speed.

Comments On Mar 30, 2011:The ride is so much smoother, and it makes you more confidant going around curves and braking. I ride hard on the gas and still got over 6k miles on the rear.
