I put a set of these tyres on my 2000 model X1 lightning buell. 180x 17 on the rear. 4500 km and rear is just ready for replacement but still legal i guess. Front to rear id say youd almost get 2 to 1. Nothing unusual there. Im also 120KG in my socks. I ride with a lot of other buellers and they said they just wouldnt try a tyre so cheep when we ride as hard as we do. Nice progressive lean in although i did notice they tried to stand you up more when aplying front brake in corners. May just have been because old tyres were knackered. Unlike a lot of other tyres ive tried there doesnt seem to be any surprises. when she starts loosing grip its very progressive and you have great feel. Its been dependable in the wet buy i dont ride stupidly when its wet. Also these are the only tyres I can say that i have been able to completely destroy the chicken strips front and back. Love em and will be buying them again. For the money I cant find better.Read All Reviews

Thought I would give this tire a try. It's great. Could not tell any difference in this and the more expensive Bridgestone Battleax I had been running. Actually got a few more miles out of this one. Also made a dozen passes at the local drag strip and had no problems. Unless you just like spending money you should try this tire.Read All Reviews

I bought Shinko before for my Sport Tourer and had/have been happy. So I bought a 240/40/R18 for my cruiser. I mount my tire by hand and the darn bead tore on me - it just ripped. Never had that happen in a tire before. Lucky for me Jake Wilson took care of it for me and I am replacing it with a Dunlop Elite 3. I am not sure if that particular tire is bad or the brand itself is hit or miss. Can't beat the price though.Read All Reviews

I only had this tire on a few months before I had to put the bike up for winter. I was riding 75 miles one way to work and almost all of it on stright highway at 75-80 mph. So only about 800 miles on them. But so far no flating on the rear tire and they seem to grip well in turn. So far so good with these tires.Read All Reviews

Bought both Shinko 009 Ravens for my Honda CBR1000F (sport-touring version of the CBR) about a week ago, and performance is excellent. Its cold weather here in Illinois still, chicken-strip capitol of the world (no hills, flat, straight roads) and i have already almost ridden to the edge of the tires with no slipping at all. Jake Wilson has the best price, and for cheap sport-touring tires these are extremely good. Very responsive, sensitive, and almost no roll resistance whatsoever. I didn't realize how much i was fighting with my last set of tires on the turns. Now sharp turns are effortless. The rubber does seem pretty soft for sport-touring, but people on forums are claiming to get 8k+ miles out of these. Time will tell, but for now i am grinning through every turn.Read All Reviews

I put the Shinko Verge on the front of my 2001 Kawasaki Concours. From day 1, I had no complaints. Tire performed as it ought to perform. No slipping, no OMG moments. It stuck to the road (with my moderately conservative riding style) and was perfect for me. I figure, if it wore down quickly, it would still be worth it at the price point. Last night after I got home, I started wondering if it was time to replace. Couldn't remember when I'd put it on, but it certainly couldn't have been THAT long. Checked my records....Over 16,000 miles. I'm over 300 lbs. and to have a tire last that long is fantastic. I'll be getting another one to put on very soon.Read All Reviews
