Good looking when new, time will tell how well it holds up. I wish it was a little taller so a 22oz. bottle of home brew would stand up in it. regular tall neck bottles will fit fine.

I had one of these previously, on a 2006 VTX 1300C, and it fit well and held up for 4 years of Arizona sunlight. I traded that bike for a 2008 VTX 1800F, and since I knew the old one wouldn't fit, I searched for quite a while to find one (doesn't seem like they make too much to fit the 1800F), and came upon this one that supposedly fits. It can be made to work, but it's not the perfect fit for the '08 1800F. First off, it's a bit too long on the end that goes under the seat, basically interfering with the part of the seat that sits under the tank. I solved this by cutting a slit for the seat tongue to fit through before setting it under the tank. And then, once it's placed under the instrument cover on the top of the tank, the front straps appear to be a bit short, so they don't run all the way over the front end of the tank. It still looks okay, and works well enough after a bit of modification, to keep it, but if/when it's time to replace it, I'll probably have to bite the bullet and spend the extra $40 to buy the Hondaline that's actually made to fit this specific bike.

The manufacture's description does not go far enough to explain the quality and versatility of this product. Every time I load it down, I discover more features.

Have not used this bag yet , however it seems good quality and very spacious, attaches easily to my luggage rack and will be great for longer trips. Highly recommended.

They lasted a few years, but the seams on one side blew out last year. Other than that they held up pretty good, Keeps the rain out on the side that is still intact. I used a couple safety pins and sewed some dental floss to hold them until I could get new ones.
