Bad experience

Comments On May 09, 2015:Normally I use a tusk rim lock just because they are cheaper and seemed to get the job done just as well. This past rear tire change I ordered this one just to try it out and see if it was better. Turns out it was worse. For some reason after 1 hare scramble and a day of riding my tire bulged out really bad and after taking the tire apart found that the rim lock was broken. Bolt was pulled out.

Used for Honda XR50

Comments On Apr 10, 2015:Used for Honda XR 50 rear wheel, not XR80. The 1.40/1.60 rim lock fits perfect on the 10" rear wheel. It did not come with a rim lock stock, so this was a nice addition by simply drilling a hole. Thanks!

WHAT CAN I SAY? IT'S A RIM LOCK LOL

Comments On Mar 01, 2015:It's a rim lock folks, has done it's job. I've personally never had a "bad" rim lock, but I'm sure they exist.

No more stranded flats on the trail.

Comments On Dec 10, 2014:My DRZ400 didnt come with rim locks. Thought I didnt need them. Suffered a rear flat 8 miles from the truck on a muddy trail in the rain. Destroyed my tube and tire because I didnt have these. Now I have one up front and two in the back. Who needs air???

Rim lock

Comments On Nov 30, 2014:If you need a rim lock, here it is. I prefer the lightweight plastic ones, as these are actually surprisingly heavy. I run two on my trials tire.
